Where We Work Africa Côte d'Ivoire

In Côte d'Ivoire, Pact works with a team of global partners to improve maternal, newborn and child health, family planning and reproductive health. We are strengthening referral systems, building the capacity of local entities and organizations to better plan, prepare, manage and finance their programs, and strengthening the strategic planning and management capacity of the national government to improve health services.

Pact's past work in Côte d'Ivoire has included efforts to stem environmental degradation, with a focus on improving people's livelihoods. We built partnerships at the community, regional and national levels to strengthen policies and systems for better natural resource management, and strengthened the capacity of local organizations working to protect ecosystems.
