How We Engage

Corporate Community Engagement

Pact realizes that this will most effectively be achieved if all parties stand to benefit. Through its Corporate Community Engagement (CCE) Program, Pact builds bridges between communities and companies, linking with government and other development and civil society partners to find appropriate and sustainable ways to generate social benefits from commercial enterprise.

Pact's Work on Conflict Minerals

Pact and Chevron

Since 2005, Pact and Chevron have collaborated to improve people’s lives throughout Southeast Asia. In Myanmar, Pact and Chevron are working to empower communities to design, and implement sustainable village-based programs to reduce the incidence of TB, HIV, malaria, and other preventable diseases. In Cambodia and Indonesia, Pact is working with local NGOs and community groups to strengthen their ability to address TB and HIV/AIDS.

Pact envisions a world in which communities and businesses work together to create opportunities to build better lives. Chevron plays an important part in realizing that vision.
