Gender Specialists

Job Description

Pact, in partnership with DevTech Systems, is looking for gender specialists to undertake short-term assignments as they develop under the Quick Response, Short Term Technical Assistance and Training Gender Integration Indefinite Quantity Contracts funded by USAID. Three weeks to four month assignments may be in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in working with USAID, and sectoral expertise in education, environment, economic growth, agriculture and trade, legal rights, conflict and humanitarian assistance, and/or global health.

In addition, candidates must also have experience in any of the following areas:

• Policy analysis
• Strategic planning
• Program performance measurement
• Program and project review
• Sector assessments
• Project design
• Project implementation
• Project monitoring and evaluation
• Data collection and analysis tools
• Research guidance and design

Quick response short term technical assistance (STTA) will be provided to support USAID operating units and missions in increasing and enhancing identification and integration of gender issues and support for women. Short term technical training will be provided to strengthen the skills of USAID staff to address gender in their work
