THEMES AND REGIONAL FOCUS
Pact has been chosen as a partner under USAID’s Encouraging Global Anticorruption and Good Governance Efforts (ENGAGE) Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The consortium leader is Casals and Associates, Inc.
The objective of ENGAGE is to promote good governance and reduce corruption in economic, political and social service sectors in three (3) areas:
- Promotion of transparency, accountability and effective governance through public financial, administrative and regulatory measures;
- Strengthening civil society’s capacity to advocate for government integrity, implement accountability and transparency programs, or oversee public functions and authorities;
- Mainstreaming anticorruption understanding and methodologies into other sectoral areas, such as environment and natural resource management, health, education, or democracy promotion.
