In Lesotho Pact is providing grants to improve community-based care and support services to People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) and to implement key prevention interventions in collaboration with NGOs, CBOs and FBOs with USAID South Africa's Regional HIV/AIDS Program for Southern Africa (RHAP). Pact also provides implementers with high-quality technical expertise to assist them in delivering effective programming as well as capacity building to increase their capacity to provide and sustain HIV/AIDS services. Grants go primarily to organizations working predominantly through abstinence and being faithful and comprehensive palliative care that includes support for caretakers and other members of vulnerable households and OVC care and support.
