Pact CCE Team and Community of Practice
Pact's core CCE Team works with Pact colleagues throughout the world to identify opportunities in which CCE can advance the development work in which Pact is engaged and to provide technical support in Pact's CCE relationships. The team has headquarters and field-based members, and also engages outside.
We are building a CCE Community of Practice to facilitate internal sharing of experience and lessons learned, and members of this Community of Practice also initiate CCE learning activities with their local stakeholders and organizational partners. The Community of Practice also ensures that Pact's CCE remains aligned with organizational priorities and leverages Pact's program experience and organizational abilities.
The members of Pact's core CCE team bring significant experience:
- Leadership experience in NGOs
- Social development implementation experience
- Experience with peace-building and communities emerging from intense conflict circumstances
- Corporate social responsibility experience in major global companies, including in the extractive industries
- Operational experience in NGOs, government and business
- Subject matter experience and advanced educational degrees in specific issue areas
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, building development coalitions and alliances
- Experience engaging Pact's talent, expertise and networks from across its programming and geographic presence
Pact's Board of Directors is keenly interested in CCE and provides significant commitment and involvement. Members with deep experience from business, public service, civil society, and academia participate actively in discussions and decisions about CCE strategy and priorities, specific CCE relationships, and approaches to managing risks and opportunities. They contribute important perspectives at the policy level and in the ongoing management of Pact's corporate community engagement.
