Insight to Action (I2A)
INSIGHT to ACTION (I2A) is a 3-day seminar which brings companies and NGOs together in a dynamic process designed to build understanding, stimulate dialogue and initiate partnerships. The seminar provides business, government and community participants an overview of partnership principles, guided site visits to examples of partnership in action, and a facilitated exercise in corporate-community action planning.
Do you represent an organization that's interested in forging new ground through partnerships with the private sector? Would you like to learn more about corporate community engagement and have an opportunity to engage in an open dialogue with local business leaders? If so, you might want to participate in or convene an INSIGHT to ACTION seminar. Learn more by reading our INSIGHT to ACTION case studies from Indonesia and Peru, and feel free to contact us anytime with questions.
Engagement to Action (E2A) and Facilitator Training
E2A provides a comprehensive and systematic method for aligning interests of communities and businesses. Using a highly participatory methodology that involves all stakeholders ? community leaders, citizens, corporate management and employees ? E2A is able to unite formerly disparate groups and assist them in articulating and developing a common vision for the future. The result is a sustainable engagement plan and strategies to deliver mutual value in the long term.
Interested in getting involved with E2A? Pact is always on the lookout for skilled local facilitators to help implement the E2A methodology with our corporate and community partners, and we can train you in the techniques and skills you'll need.
NGO Assessment, Capacity Building and Partnership Readiness Training
Through its Corporate Matching Services, Pact works with transnational and national corporations to help them build partnerships with organizations at the local level. Are you interested in being matched with a corporation to begin a dialogue about the ways you can work together to solve the development problems in your communities? Pact will first work with your organization to assess its strengths and weaknesses, and has a variety of services and tools to help you develop your internal organizational capacity where needed.
Due Diligence Service
Are you interested in partnering with the corporate sector, but feel intimidated by the "unknowns" of your potential business partner? Pact has developed an extensive due diligence process for its own corporate community engagement relationships. We can offer advice, or in limited cases services, to help you pursue the due diligence needed to assess the commitment and capability of the company to address community needs and be a good partner for your organization. Don't risk your reputation by entering into partnerships blindly.
Project Collaboration
Pact's CCE relationships often include opportunities for other NGOs to participate in specific social development and capacity building activities. If you work in places where Pact has CCE work underway, please contact us if you believe there might be opportunities for effective collaboration to advance social development outcomes and so your organization can be considered if appropriate opportunities exist.
Sharing Knowledge
Pact participates actively with NGO colleagues and in cross-sector dialogue forums to share experience and lessons learned from its work around the world.
