What We Do
Pact has been operating in Southern Sudan since 2002 with the aim of building the capacity of Sudanese to create their own sustainable peace and development. Our country program covers the whole of Southern Sudan as well as programs in the North.
Currently, we are running 3 core programs; Water for Recovery and Peace (WRAPP), South Sudan Peace Fund, and Enhancing Peace and Community Stability (EPACS).
To date, a total of more than 1.5m people including approximately 470,000 returnees have been beneficiaries of clean water and peace building initiatives. This has been achieved through collaboration with over 100 local partners, INGOs, local authorities and southern Sudanese government through the provision of grants and technical support.
