Pact Vietnam RFA Announcements
Pact Vietnam is pleased to announce results from recent RFAs for programs that will be managed by Pact Vietnam on behalf of USAID under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). 

The PEPFAR Local Partnerships Initiative: Preventing HIV/AIDS among Hidden At-Risk Populations ( RFA # 07-00-002) aims to reduce HIV/AIDS transmission among most at-risk populations, particularly among groups who have not yet been adequately reached with prevention programming. Pact is pleased to announce that three applicants have been selected to receive support, as follows: 

• The Center for Community Health Promotion (CHP) for work in Hai Phong with seafarers and MSM
• Vietnamese Community Mobilization Center for HIV/AIDS Control (VICOMC), for HIV prevention work with CSWs, IDUs and PLHIV in Hanoi, and
• Pro-Poor Development Center (PPC) for design of HIV prevention activities targeting most-at-risk group in Nghe An.

The program Reducing HIV/AIDS Risk among Primary Sexual Partners of Rehabilitation (06) Center Returnees in Viet Nam (RFA # 07-00-005) aims to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS to primary female sexual partners of 06 center returnees.  Pact is pleased to announce that Abt Associates Inc., in partnership with the Institute for Social Development Studies and the Hanoi Women’s Health Center, is the selected award recipient.
