NRM Knowledge Management and Capacity Development Specialists (IQC)

Position Summary: Pact seeks NRM Knowledge Management and Capacity Development Specialists for an upcoming USAID-funded global program.
Note: This position is for inclusion in an upcoming proposal submission and is contingent on award of funding.
Candidate experience should include one or more of the skill areas below:
• Organizational Capacity Assessment and Analysis
• Learning and Knowledge Management around livelihoods and natural resource issues
• Cross sectoral and strategic planning
• Capacity building and institutional strengthening
• Gender integration and strengthening of disadvantaged groups
• Network capacity assessment and strengthening
• Training and workshop facilitation
• Gathering and dissemination of best practices and lesson learning in the NRM sector
Required Qualifications:
• 5-10 years experience in knowledge management, information systems, capacity development and institutional strengthening Knowledge of website development and content management an asset
• Understanding of social media and Web 2.0 applications in development
• Knowledge Management and/or Adult Learning experience preferred
• Degree in information systems, library science, public administration, public policy, or related field; Masters degree preferred
• Experience working in developing countries
• Fluent English language skills
• Proficiency in a second language preferable
