However, these organizations had little experience and weak capacity in turning advocacy efforts into policy change. In 1998 the Zimbabwe American Development Foundation (ZADF) was launched to strengthen their advocacy capacity. Our approach builds organizational capacity through a combination of grant making, training and mentoring. We also provide technical assistance to participating organizations in the areas of financial management, organizational development, and program monitoring and evaluation.
