Pact appoints Alik Hinckson new CFO

Alik Hinckson joins Pact, an international nongovernmental organization, as chief financial officer and executive vice president of finance and management services.

As the chief financial officer, Hinckson will provide strategic direction and operational oversight of Pact’s financial planning systems and ensure the financial integrity and sustainability of the organization.

Mark Viso, president and CEO of Pact, welcomed Hinckson to the organization, and Washington, D.C., this week.

“We are excited to welcome Alik to Pact and fortunate to have him at the helm of our business. His experience in the nonprofit sector, working with organizations both large and small, will be invaluable to ensuring our continued excellence in financial planning and management,” said Viso.

Prior to joining Pact, Hinckson was the chief financial officer for Prep for Prep, a nonprofit that provides access to, and enhancement of, educational opportunities for a range of ethnic and socioeconomic groups within New York City.

Hinckson has also worked for the International Rescue Committee as the director of international finance and in various capacities at Columbia University. He brings more than 15 years of experience to Pact. Hinckson earned a M.P.A. from Columbia University and a B.B.A. in Accounting, Cum Laude, degree from Bernard Baruch College.

Pact is a top 10 implementing partner of U.S. Agency for International Development and serves several other national aid agencies, as well as The Global Fund, private funders such as the Gates Foundation and The Coca-Cola Foundation, and corporations including Chevron.
