Pact is working in Laos to ensure socially and environmentally responsible development as the country grows. 

Through the Lower Mekong Initiative, Pact supports a platform to address transnational development challenges. The project is strengthening the ability of Lower Mekong governments to understand and manage shared natural resources, improve joint planning and coordination and deploy new technologies, approaches and methodologies for sustainable development, natural resource conservation and climate change.
