Covid-19

5 steps to stop coronavirus

Wash your hands often

Wear a mask

Avoid touching your face

Use social distancing

Stay home if you are sick

The Covid-19 pandemic is among the most pressing global health challenges of modern times. Millions of people have been infected with the virus, and an effective vaccine is at best months away. Besides the medical crisis that Covid-19 presents, the virus is upending livelihoods, markets and economies, restricting movement and intensifying complex social problems such as gender-based and family violence, health care inequality and more.

As soon as coronavirus began spreading rapidly, Pact took steps to protect the health and safety of communities we serve as well as our global staff, including assembling a global Covid-19 task force, restricting our travel and requiring our employees to work from home. We are now working with our many partners and donors to respond to the pandemic and meet quickly changing needs in the 40 countries where Pact works. With decades of experience in health, HIV and AIDS, sanitation and hygiene, livelihoods development, environmental work, governance and the protection of vulnerable groups, Pact stands ready to meet the many challenges of Covid-19.
