Fahmid Bhuiya

Fahmid Bhuiya is president and chief operating officer of Pact Global Microfinance Fund. He has nearly three decades of microfinance and institutional development experience and has led PGMF, Myanmar’s largest microfinance institution, since 2011. He has worked with some of the world's most reputable microfinance and income generating NGOs, including BRAC, CARE International and Pathfinder International. He was a pioneer in introducing microfinance into Myanmar. He began with Pact in Bangladesh in 1995 and joined Pact in Myanmar three years later.
