Salisu Mohammed Lawal, PhD, is an accomplished Nigerian development practitioner who first began working for Pact in 2011. He has held roles including senior capacity development specialist, deputy chief of party, project director and program manager. Before joining Pact, he served as national program manager for the USAID-funded Conflict Abatement through Local Mitigation project in Nigeria, and as governance advisor for Catholic Relief Services and USAID's Nigeria Feed the Future livelihoods project. He holds a bachelor's degree in conflict management and general studies, a master's in development studies and a PhD in governance and development.
