Tayzar Lin

Tayzar Lin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Quality and has extensive knowledge of Myanmar's energy sector. He served as an Assistant Manager for several years at the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, working in the department of distribution system operation and maintenance, policy and thermal operations.

His expertise covers the current state and future advancements in power generation, transmission, and distribution in the region. He has a deep understanding of government protocols and complex power purchasing agreements, including LNG-to-power projects.

In 2020, Tayzar Lin joined Pact and contributed to the development of the Myanmar Power Map, which provides an overview of the country's updated transmission and distribution lines and power generation plants. He later focused on the development of the distributed renewable energy (DRE) sector in Myanmar, providing technical assistance for several solar project implementations.
