Economic contributions of artisanal and small-scale mining in Kenya: gold and gemstones

Building upon existing research and informed by two field studies, this study seeks to profile the current contributions of gold and gemstones ASM in Kenya, identify specific barriers and opportunities for improved sectoral performance, and outline key recommendations for pro-poor development and broad-based economic growth.
