World Humanitarian Day: Covid-19 hygiene kits help vulnerable communities in Southeastern Myanmar

This year, World Humanitarian Day, marked on August 19, comes at an unprecedented time as the world continues to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. In Myanmar, the recent onslaught of the monsoon season brings heavy rains, adding to the complexities of humanitarian work in remote communities. Pact’s Advancing Community Empowerment (ACE) project, supported by USAID, began its Covid-19 response by sharing critical information about the virus in remote villages of southeastern Myanmar.
