Amanuel Dibaba

Amanuel Dibaba is director for Horn of Africa at Pact, which includes overseeing programming across Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia. Amanuel has extensive experience managing development programs in Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and Zimbabwe. In addition to private donors and foundations, he has worked with USAID, EU/ECHO, UK/DFID, the World Bank and the United Nations. His expertise includes the design and implementation of programs in natural resource management, peace building and conflict resolution, livelihoods development, food security and youth and women’s empowerment. Amanuel holds an MBA from Chandaria School of Business, United State University-Africa in Kenya, as well as a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Haramaya University in Ethiopia.
