Private Sector Engagement
Pact works with private sector clients and partners to improve health, develop sustainable supply chains and stimulate economic development to accelerate progress toward ending poverty and marginalization.
Private sector actors are critical in the global effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The private sector provides many jobs in developing countries, along with vital goods and services. It generates tax revenue for social services and infrastructure, serves as an engine of economic growth and can address development challenges ranging from limited access to finance to climate change.
Pact brings more than 50 years of experience engaging with private sector clients and partners, including corporations, foundations, associations, institutions and small and medium-size enterprises. We help our partners to operate more responsibly and to harness their capabilities to build local livelihoods, improve the environment, provide clean energy, protect workers, stop child labor in their supply chains and more.
We work within market systems, along value chains, and serve as a neutral broker between our partners and clients and local communities.
