An international development organization at work in nearly 40 countries, Pact builds solutions for human development that are evidence-based, data-driven and owned by the communities we serve.

AFRICA

Africa is the second most populous continent, home to some of the world’s fastest growing economies. Yet communities across Africa face complex social challenges, from the ongoing HIV epidemic, Covid-19 and fragile health care systems to conflict, natural resource exploitation and the many impacts of climate change.
ASIA

Pact has worked in Asia for decades. We are one of the longest serving international organizations in Myanmar, and our earliest WORTH groups – an economic empowerment model that has reached more than 1 million women – began in Nepal.
Europe

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, countries across Eastern Europe have sought to overcome its legacies: censorship, propaganda, corruption and inadequate social services. Pact has been beside them, working to build new democratic futures.
LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN

Building on our long history in the region – from labor justice work in El Salvador to HIV programming in Brazil – today Pact’s footprint reaches across South America and beyond.
