David Bonnardeaux
Director, Environment and Energy
David Bonnardeaux is a seasoned sustainable development practitioner with 18 years of experience co-designing, advising and managing environment and natural resource management projects. He provides technical oversight spanning nature-based solutions, participatory natural resource management and climate resilience. He led the development of Pact's first ever carbon assessment and is spearheading carbon emission reduction measures. Prior to joining Pact, David consulted for McKinsey Social Initiative, Conservation International, Development Alternatives Inc. and others. He was instrumental in supporting the Government of Vietnam to develop their Payment for Forest Environmental Services policy and pilot including a REDD+ carbon project. David earned a Masters in Water Management from Cranfield University, and a BSc in Ecology from the University of Edinburgh. David speaks English, French and Spanish.
