Jorden de Haan
Senior Technical Manager, Responsible Mining
Jorden de Haan is a senior manager at Pact specialized in the intersections of artisanal mining governance, peacebuilding and development in sub-Saharan Africa. He holds an MSc. in Local Governance and Development and has more than a decade of development and peacebuilding experience, including six years of living in Africa. Prior to Pact, he worked with UNITAR and UN Environment, where he supported African countries in governing the artisanal gold mining sector, and championed the development of the UNITAR and UN Environment Formalization Handbook. Jorden is currently based ini Nairobi. He speaks English, Dutch, Swahili and French.
