Laura Zambrano is a senior program manager with 15-plus years of experience in strategic planning, project design and implementation of international development programs with USAID and U.S. government financing. Laura previously served as Chief pf Party for the USAID/Mexico EnfoqueDH program and Deputy Chief of Party of the USAID/Colombia Human Rights Activity, both focused on prevention, protection and response to human rights violations. She has extensive technical experience in project startup/close-out and leading operations with local governments and civil society in highly unstable regions to support migrant populations and other victims of gross human rights violations, particularly victims of torture, trafficking in persons, forced displacement and disappearance and sexual violence. Laura holds a masters’ degree in international relations from Duke University. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is a two-time marathon finisher.
