Laurel Bradley

Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Advisor, CSM-STAND


Laurel Bradley is the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Advisor for the Pact-led CSM-STAND program. She is a medical anthropologist who has conducted qualitative research on intersecting issues of gender, international labor migration, citizenship, violence and the impact of policy on people’s daily lives. In her work in international development, she has integrated GESI into assessments and programming in economic empowerment and democracy, rights and governance sectors with a focus on intersectionality and evidence-based approaches. Previously, Laurel has worked in a number roles for international development and human rights organizations, including most recently as a Technical Manager at Management Systems International and Creative Associates, and a AAAS S&T Policy Fellow at USAID. She holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
