Nicole Perkins Baddou is a senior international development and climate action professional with over 20 years of global experience at the nexus of climate and sustainable development. As Senior Advisor for Climate and Clean Energy at Pact, she specializes in designing innovative and inclusive approaches, partnerships and projects that enable equitable climate action and just economic transitions. Her expertise spans mobilizing partnerships, fostering enabling policy environments and scaling technologies and solutions for mitigation, adaptation and resilience across diverse sectors.
Nicole has a robust track record in program design, governance and multi-stakeholder engagement, including leading large-scale technical assistance projects valued at over $100 million. She has directly supported the development of climate finance initiatives, carbon market mechanisms under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and innovative tools to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into global supply chains.
Fluent in English and French, Nicole is committed to advancing equity and sustainability in emerging markets, with particular emphasis on engaging Indigenous peoples and local communities.
