Thabisile Mngadi

Thabisile Mngadi is a seasoned organizational development practitioner with over 30 years of management experience. She has worked and lived in Southern Africa and East Asia, managing multi-sectoral development programs including complex emergency relief programs. Her expertise is in design, implementation, management and evaluation of public health projects including HIV prevention, capacity development for civil society organizations, grants and contracts management and administration, policy development and planning, microbusiness development and civic education. She has codesigned various participatory organizational assessment tools and is an active member of the International Organizational Development Agency. Thabisile began her career as a tax and business developer consultant for small and medium scale industries but soon moved into community development, working with women’s empowerment projects and household food security initiatives in Mozambique. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting and a post-graduate diploma in business management and international development.
