This webinar examines how funders, international NGOs and community-based organizations have defined locally led development and are holding themselves and one another accountable for progress, what obstacles have emerged, and recommendations for moving forward. Speakers included: Yaneth Pobea, President, CORPILARESBOL (Corporación Pilares Sur de Bolivar), Colombia; Gertrude Shumba, Executive Director, FACT (Family AIDS Caring Trust), Zimbabwe; Kate Scaife Diaz, Localization Advisor, Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning, USAID; and Michèle Laird, Senior Vice President of Programs, Pact. The event was moderated by Marianna Balampama, Deputy Regional Director for Africa at Pact with opening remarks provided by Caroline Anstey, Pact President & CEO.
