Three things you didn’t know about the hidden work of girls
October 12, 2021
In this U.S. Department of Labor blog post marking International Day of the Girl, Deputy Undersecretary for International Affairs Thea Lee details the invisible work done by girls around the world. She discusses how the Labor Department's programs in Mexico and Colombia help address these risks holistically, recognizing the links between social, psychological, political and economic empowerment. This includes the Vamos Tejiendo project in Colombia, which is implemented by Pact.
