Building an AIDS-free Zambia: Pastor Tresford Nkumba

October 26, 2020

After becoming gravely ill and testing positive for HIV, Tresford Nkumba decided to turn his life around for the sake of his children and his community. He started antiretroviral therapy and took charge of his health, and then became a pastor. Today, his life is dedicated to educating others in his community in Lusaka, Zambia, about the importance of HIV prevention, testing and treatment. He is a faith-based "community change agent" with the Zambia Community HIV Prevention Program, funded by USAID and PEPFAR and implemented by Pact and other partners. (Video: Brian Clark/Pact)
