Formalization of artisanal mining in DRC

In July 2022, Pact staff visited a mine in DRC to evaluate the impacts of our programming in support of the formalization of the artisanal mining sector and sanitation in the artisanal cobalt supply chain. The visit served to assess Pact's capacity to influence the dissemination of best practices and their adoption by actors, but also limitations and challenges that could inform future programming for even more effective action.
