Land tenure in Madagascar

This video showcases the achievements of the USAID Hay Tao Project in promoting sustainable usage of natural resources and land development in Madagascar. Through Hay Tao, Pact conducted a plot census, shared land use information, and held participatory sessions in Menabe Antimena, a protected region of Madagascar, so that local inhabitants, including migrant agricultural workers, could apply sustainable land use plans to grow important crops, including vanilla, corn, and groundnuts. This video also shows how Pact has built public knowledge of environmental land use laws by disseminating information and establishing a hotline with resources.
