Stories of change from the Women of Ukraine project
May 07, 2024
Girls and women
Funded by Global Affairs Canada and led by Pact, the Women of Ukraine project (2019-2024) worked to increase the fulfilment of human rights for women and girls, and to advance gender equality in Ukraine. The project built the capacity of women’s rights organizations and supported advocacy campaigns through the delivery of small grants. The project promoted inclusion of the women’s movement into a broader reform agenda and national development processes by engaging a diverse range of stakeholders, including nongovernment organizations, local authorities, key decisionmakers, media, trade unions and religious organizations. In this compendium, read stories of change from the project.
